Vainglory is not just one of the best good looking games, but one with the finest gameplay. MOBA never feels so right on mobile platform. Until now.

A top-class MOBA that works extremely well on iOS devices. It looks beautiful, it's fun to play - and doesn't cost a dime to sample its considerable charms.

Vainglory proofs that a MOBA belongs on a mobile platform as well as on PC. The game offers a very well designed environment with a solid multiplayer experience. It is a pity there is not a lot of characters in this game. But we do like the fact that it is very suitable for newbies.

One fun MOBA game that takes advantage of the touch controls, despite it needing a big screen to be fully enjoyed. 3 on 3 matches are plenty of fun.

The game could benefit greatly from better in-game communication, but as it stands, Vainglory shows it is not only possible to make a MOBA game perfected for touch screens, but that it can be astoundingly fun to play.

A rich and compelling distillation of MOBA for mobiles, but presents a very steep and jagged face to new players.

This game deserves deserves a mobile game of the year award IMO let me just list out some points as to why I think this:

    - There is absolutely no pay to win aspect in this game whatsoever
    - Great matches that are interesting from start to finish
    - 11 different heroes to choose from (with 3 more coming within the following months) each different and carefully balanced by Super Evil Megacorp
-A specialized team of devs who work tirelessly to appease the player base
-Play with or against you friends!
    Great community on the forums
+ the game is free! seriously! you guys need to try out this game! you can only gain from doing so.

Now that I'm completely addicted, I have to admit that the gameplay reminds me of beta League of Legends.

The games are a good length. The champions are unique, different, yet familiar. The map is simple to learn and complex to master. The items are straight-forward and organized efficiently. The game progression is smooth and understandable. This is the best that a MOBA could be on a touch interface, and daily I'm asked if I'm playing on a PC because the game looks and runs that good.

The gameplay is extrardinary, and, while tailored to iOS users, on par with the gameplay of MOBAs such as LoL or DOTA. The item builds are simplified, but that's a good thing- each item serves a rather obvious purpose, and so the large variety of items and combinations allow you to respond easily to any situation, without having to research much. The graphics, too, are phenomenal- the best I've ever seen on an iPad. Vainglory goes above and beyond to use the newest technology (Metal) to enhance the visual effects. The community is also a large part of what shapes Vainglory. Not only is the MOBAFire dedicated Vainglory site, Vaingloryfire.com, an extreamly useful place for builds, but the forums are simply unparalleled in any other game I've played. The community is extreamly welcoming, but beyond that, the developers are very active, moron answering questions and explaining the meta to taking input and considering new ideas. All in all, Vainglory is one of the crucial games in the battle to decide whether iOS can really become a gaming platform, and it says a resounding yes. Expand

I'm not new in the mobile MOBA world having over one year of experience with the most known mobile MOBAS (Heroes of Order and Chaos, Fates Forever), but this one guys... this one! It has a fluent gameplay, heroes are well balanced and viable and the graphics simply look great :)
The community is friendly and the developers are in the first line which is something really really important to me

I didn't even get past the tutorial because of the incredible lag that came, since the latency in other apps is still great when sitting so 'far' away from your router. The game has like 15 characters to choose from, but i don't want to play a game where my latency is beyond playable. I find it as a poor mans version of League of Legends or DOTA, which both offer greater experiences. Expand
